THE KREWE

It was Mardi Gras 2019. Three Super Troupers were partying at a parade when a dance krewe shimmied by. One girl said to the other, “We can dance! We can jive! We should have the time of our lives!” And thus, the idea of Voulez Krewe, an ABBA themed dance krewe, was born.
We're an ABBA-themed, gender and ability inclusive, 21+ dance krewe that is incorporated as a 501(c)(7) organization.
Many of our members serve on committees that make important decisions, like what our costumes will look like, what causes we want to support, and what dance moves we'll bust as we shimmy down St. Charles Avenue.

Membership
Mamma Mia! Unfortunately, we are not able to accept new members for the 2026-2027 season. In the meantime, if you want to get involved with Voulez Krewe continue following our social media for chances to volunteer as a Fernando or attend our public social events. And we'll see you on the parade route!
The Fernandos are our support krewe. They hype the crowd, carry waters, and feel the beat of their tambourines! Being a Fernando is a great way to be active in our Voulez Krewe community. If you'd like to be contacted when we need volunteers, please fill out this form.
